(For Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, 10 Operating Systems). This is the most current software from TauRIS for United States fanciers. When installing this software, be sure to log on with administrator rights. After you unzip this file be sure to READ the .pdf files to save clubs, fanciers, and pigeon data. Establish the communication port when running this software, this is the #1 User Issue. Your USB port settings under Computer Management must match the com port in the TauRIS software. When updating clocks, run the terminal program and select the correct program for the clock, hold down the 6 key and then power on the clock, the program will run and AFTER you see the blue bars going across the computer screen slowly you can let go of the 6 key. Once you hear the beep, the clock has been updated. You can verify the clock update by entering key 8, communication setting, you should see US 8.17X F306. (X = # of fanciers in the clock).

If you are having problems with Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 10 computer communicating with your clocks, be sure to obtain and use a quality USB 2.0 to Serial Converter that is certified to work on Vista, Windows 7, 10 (32 bit or 64 bit) operating systems. These USB Serial converters should come with a CD for the drivers. If you do not use a certified Vista, Windows 7, 10 USB 2.0 to Serial Converter do not call me. I can not tell you how many clubs have chosen to use cheap non-certified USB to Serial cables, adapters, and converters that do not work. After, I have finally convinced the club to obtain a certified Vista Windows 7, 10 USB 2.0 to Serial Converter, their computers work flawlessly with the TauRIS clocks. For some reason Radio Shack USB to Serial converters do not work; I do not know why, I am just stating what customers are telling me.
I have these certified Vista, Windows 7, 10 USB 2.0 to Serial Converters in stock for $40.00.
